Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Donates more than $25,000 in College Scholarships
In addition to supporting programs as a member of Partners in Education Celebration, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union awards annually eleven John D. Unangst Scholarships valued at $1,500 each to high school seniors. Click here for application information.
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union also makes available to high schools in its field of membership a $300 grant for seniors pursuing business studies in a post-secondary institution. Counselors at each high school select one senior that exhibits above average academic achievement and community service.
FMFCU Partners in Education
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union formed a 501 (c)(3) Foundation in 2007 to carry out its mission of advancing education and financial literacy in the community it serves. In 2014, FMFCU Foundation expanded under the moniker FMFCU Partners in Education to include sponsoring organizations that were attracted to our efforts. And as part of the Partners in Education Program, FMFCU has an exciting and unique partnership with select Delaware County, Chester County, and Delaware State School Districts by running Student-Operated Financial Literacy Centers.

- School field trips

The Delaware County Excellence in Teaching Award recognizes outstanding and dedicated teachers in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union created this award in 2007 in partnership with Delaware County Intermediate Unit. Find out more.
John D. Unangst Scholarship
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union will award eleven $1,500 John D. Unangst Scholarships to a high school senior who will be attending a full time course of study at an accredited two (2) or four (4) year college, university, trade, technical or business school. Get the details here.
