Benefits Overview
Medical Insurance
Choice of Aetna Limited Application Deductible or Qualified High Deductible plans for employee and dependents. Prescription benefits included.
Dental Insurance
Delta Dental coverage is available to employees and dependents.
Vision Insurance
VSP Vision Care is available to employees and dependents.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses and/or dependent care (day care) expenses using pre-tax contributions. Contribute up to $3,200 (medical) and $5,000 (dependent).
Health Savings Accounts
Contribute pre-tax dollars to a portable account used for paying qualified medical expenses. Includes a $1 for $1 employer match of up to $500 on employee-only coverage or $1,000 for family coverage.
Retirement Plan 401(k)
FMFCU automatically deposits 3% of an employee’s salary into a retirement plan, fully paid by the Credit Union.
Employees can also make voluntary 401(k) contributions and FMFCU will match 25 cents on every dollar up to 6% gross pay. Post-tax ROTH option available.
Paid Time Off
Full-time employees accrue up to 4 weeks of PTO in first full year. Part-time eligible employees receive pro-rated PTO.
Income Protection Insurance
Short- and Long-Term Disability coverage is provided at no cost to benefit-eligible employees.

Paid Family Leave
Provides one week of paid time off to care for a spouse, child, or parent. This benefits employees who qualify for FMLA leave.
Volunteer Time Off
FMFCU encourages community involvement by providing one annual paid day off to volunteer at a nonprofit or school.
Tuition Reimbursement
$5,000 per year is available to full-time employees after six-months at FMFCU.
Employee Assistance Program
Confidential, FREE, professional support and guidance to assist employees and their eligible dependents in navigating life’s challenges. Through two available EAP programs, employees can self-support through online tools and educational resources, or seek outside support through face-to-face or virtual counseling visits. Between the two programs, there are 13 included visits per year.

Attire
Business casual for corporate-headquartered employees. Branch staff is business professional except Fridays and Saturdays.
