SECURITY ALERTS
FMFCU knows how important the security of your FMFCU accounts is to you. Many types of Security Alerts to help keep you informed of activity within your Online and Mobile Banking apps are available. Get notified via push notifications, email, text and more.
Head over to Settings and tap Alerts inside Online or Mobile Banking. Then scroll down to explore all the options available to you.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
A push notification is a message that pops up on a mobile device. Users don’t have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them. When logging in for the first time on the new version of FMFCU’s Mobile Banking app, you will be presented with a one-time ‘speed-bump’.
- “Allow” registers the device ID and enables push for Security Alerts
- “No, Thanks” dismisses the page; nothing registered
- If you delete and re-install the app, you will be presented with this ‘speed bump’ again
NOTE: Only for Apple iOS devices, a prompt will display to allow push notifications for the app. Selecting “Allow” enables them.
Once you’re logged in, on the left navigation Menu, under Settings you will see the new Push Notifications tab. Here, you can enable or disable them. With Push Notifications enabled, head over to the Alerts tab to create new alerts or edit an existing Alert, and choose Push Notification as a delivery method.
