Chadds Ford, PA — Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union (FMFCU) announced the election of Isis Williams to its board of directors.
Williams presently serves as executive director at Horsey, Buckner, and Heffler, LLP, a minority-controlled certified public accounting firm in Philadelphia, PA. She is responsible for assisting in the overall strategic direction of the assurance and accounting practice
“Isis brings an impressive amount of accounting and financial reporting expertise to our board,” said President and CEO Michael B. Magnavita, CPA. “Her acumen in these areas and strong leadership skills will be assets as FMFCU continues growing.”
Williams earned her master’s degree in Business Administration with accounting concentration from Temple University and bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from Rutgers University. She previously served on the FMFCU Supervisory Committee.
With over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, Williams possesses a background that includes auditing not-for-profit and government entities, advisory services for local and state government clients, and audits of social services agencies.
