October 29, 2015 – Havertown, PA – Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union (FMFCU) recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open its Havertown Branch in the Quarry Shopping Center.
“Extending in Havertown was a natural step for FMFCU” noted Marsha Scrader, branch manager. “This area has so much untapped potential for the Credit Union. We look forward to being an integral part of the Havertown community.”
The Havertown Branch joins near-by FMFCU branches in Haverford, Springfield, and Broomall. It is also among the first offices to introduce dialog banking, a unique approach to conducting financial business. Dialog banking emphasizes starting conversations with members on how the Credit Union can help them achieve financial goals. This approach adds a personal touch to the already high-tech remote delivery tools FMFCU offers.
To introduce the new location at 116 West Township Line Road, Havertown staff hosted a grand opening celebration featuring prize drawings, the FMFCU Treasure Chest, food, and entertainment.
