In 2007, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union formed a 501(c)(3), FMFCU Foundation, to carry out its mission of advancing education and financial literacy in the community it serves. In 2014, FMFCU Foundation expanded to include sponsoring organizations that were attracted to our efforts.

FMFCU College Scholarships
Each year, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union awards more than $25,000 in college scholarships and grants.
FMFCU Grants
Teacher mini-Grants
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation awards 10 one-time mini grants to K-12 teachers. These mini grants are intended to help teachers fund innovative educational experiences for their students that may not otherwise be funded. Amounts from $200 to $500 are available.
Partners in Education Student Grant
FMFCU awards a $300 grant for high school seniors pursuing business studies in a post-secondary institution. Counselors at each high school in our field of membership select one senior that exhibits above average academic achievement and community service.
John D. Unangst Memorial Scholarship
Additionally, FMFCU will award five $3,000 John D. Unangst Memorial Scholarships to high school seniors who will be attending a full-time course of study at an accredited two (2) or four (4) year college, university, trade, technical, or business school.
