FMFCU Partners in Education
In 2007, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union formed a 501(c)(3), FMFCU Foundation, to carry out its mission of advancing education and financial literacy in the community it serves. In 2014, FMFCU Foundation expanded under the moniker FMFCU Partners in Education to include sponsoring organizations that were attracted to our efforts.
Programs funded by FMFCU Partners in Education include:
- Books for young children
- Delco Hi-Q
- School field trips
- Financial Fitness Workshops:
- Financial Fitness @ School
- Financial Fitness @ College
- Financial Fitness @ Work

FMFCU College Scholarships
Each year, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union awards more than $25,000 in college scholarships and grants.
FMFCU awards a $300 grant for high school seniors pursuing business studies in a post-secondary institution. Counselors at each high school in our field of membership select one senior that exhibits above average academic achievement and community service.
John D. Unangst Scholarship
Additionally, FMFCU will award eleven $1,500 John D. Unangst Scholarships to high school seniors who will be attending a full-time course of study at an accredited two (2) or four (4) year college, university, trade, technical, or business school.
- You, or any member of your immediate family, must be a member of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union.
- Employees/Directors of Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, their affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible.
