Kids guide to money

Nothing feels better than to help someone in need. There are lots of disadvantaged people around the world who can use some help, and there are many, many organizations called "charities" established to help those in need.

Here are some ways you can share your money and feel really good about it:

  • Donate some money to the Red Cross organization
  • Buy groceries or food to help feed the homeless
  • Give it as an offering in your church
  • Put it in a charity collection box

Secret #1

10% is 1/10th part of what you have. Out of $10, 10% would be $1. Use the Percentage Calculator to find out the amount of money to share through a percentage.

Tip: The percentage is just one way to get an idea of how much to put in the Share It box and you don't have to be exact either.

Put away the amount you decided to share in a separate place that will go into the 'Share It' box.
