What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It allows you to stay informed with the latest news from your favorite sites on the web. You save time by using an RSS aggregator instead of visiting each site individually. FMFCU offers this service to all FMFCU members and non-members alike.

With FMFCU's RSS Feed, you have state-of-the-art customization that is virtually nonexistent anywhere else on the web. When you sign up, you will be asked to enter a few pieces of information about yourself (which is not sold or distributed), and when you receive content, it will be customized just for you!

What do I need to subscribe FMFCU's RSS Feed?

The first thing you need is an RSS news reader. There are many readers available on today's RSS world. The most popular are:

It's easy! Simply do the following:

  2. A new, secure window open and you will fill out a few simple fields to help us customize the feed to you. Then at the bottom of the form, select which subjects you would like to be informed. It won't hurt to select all--that way, you will stay on top of all FMFCU alerts.
  3. Once you've filled out the form, click on the "Create My Custom Feed" button. You will then receive your custom URL.
  4. Important: So you don't lose your custom URL, copy it first. Then either go to your favorite reader and copy and paste the link (Firefox for example), or click on any of the web-based readers' buttons to automatically enter it into any of those readers.
