FMFCU account number format and Routing Number

Your FMFCU account numbers need to be converted to a 10 digit format for successful set up of your eTransfer accounts. Instructions to properly convert FMFCU accounts to 10 digits are given below. For your external accounts, you should contact the financial institution and verify that the account numbers are in the correct format for electronic funds transfer.

Where can I find my personal checking account # and FMFCU Routing #?

FMFCU Routing number and checking account number are displayed at the bottom left side of your checks as shown below.

FMFCU Checking Account #

Add lead zero(s) to your FMFCU checking account # to convert it to 10 digits.
Some account numbers may have the number “16” displayed after the account number. Do NOT include the “16” with your account number.

Primary Savings Account #

Place your member number before “ - 00”.
Add lead zero(s) to make it full ten-digits.

Secondary Savings Account #

Place your member number before “ - ” and add the last two digits of the secondary savings account ID. For example, if the ID is 001, fill in 01.
Add lead zero(s) to make it full ten-digits.

Start Smart Savings Account #

Place your member number before account ID. Start Smart ID’s are generally 005.
Add lead zero(s) to make it full ten-digits.

Money Market Account #

To format a money market account you can find the account number on the bottom of your check immediately following the routing number.


Add lead zero(s) to make it full ten-digits.

Loan Account #

Place your member number before loan account ID.
Add lead zero(s) to make it full ten-digits.
